For my 15th birthday my mom decided to give me a trip to wherever I wanted to go, I chose to go to San Francisco with her. The first day we got there we went on a tour bus; I got to see famous monuments like the Golden Gate Bridge and the prison of Alcatraz. Later that day we went to a wax museum in Pier 39, my mom was insanely scared because she felt like the wax models were suddenly going to move so we rushed through the museum as fast as we could. The next day we went on a bay cruise called the Blue&Gold Fleet, we got to go inside the prison of Alcatraz, and we saw where they had locked up Al Pacino. Later that week we went to see a Peter Pan play which was really fun, the only problem was that all the actors spoke with a British accent so it was kind of hard to understand them. My trip to San Francisco was really fun.

My little cousin Antonella’s birthday was on June 10th so me and my family went to San Pedro Sula to celebrate with her. My cousin Sofia and I stayed in the same room together. We were bored at night and decided we were going to watch When in Rome. This movie is about a woman who goes to Rome to her sister’s wedding, even though she has a gallery to organize for the day after the wedding. At the wedding she meets the Best Man and immediately falls for him, later she sees him with another woman and gets really sad so she grabs a bottle of champagne and sits next to the fountain of love. She goes into the Fountain of Love in Rome and takes out four coins from it, little did she know that this would cause the four men the coins belonged to fall in love with her. She ends up in love with the Best Man and they get married. J

Almost every day of this past summer I have stayed up late watching movies with my brothers. I never get to spend time with them during the day and it’s the only time I have with them before they go to college so we use up as much time as we have. This week I stayed up late watching the new Sherlock Holmes movie with my brothers. The movie was great. I loved that before Sherlock was going to fight against a guy he would plan everything he was going to do in his head before he does it. I also liked how you could really see how much Sherlock and Watson cared for each other; even though Sherlock did many bad things to Watson’s girlfriends he would always forgive him for what he did. This movie is definitely one of the best I have seen this year.
